Evaluation of the sustainable performance of the intelligent building envelope as a midst interactive with the external climate

الملخص

Intelligent buildings contribute to achieve environmental sustainability, and the intelligent envelope is an important part of the intelligent building system, because it achieves interaction between the building and environment, this Contrary to traditional facades that achieve separation between internal and external environments without ability to adapt or integrated response, in addition to more consumption of natural resources. The research aims to determine the methodology of achieving the efficiency and the amount of contributions of the intelligent envelope to environmental sustainability, and then the study extracts the indicators and rates that can be achieved by the concept of intelligent envelope. The research in determining and evaluating the performance of the intelligent envelope which achieve sustainability is based on the analytical and statistical study of the opinions of specialists on what the intelligent envelope represents, As well as references and scientific evidence. Then the research deals with case study to implement the proposed vision, then results and recommendations
